55” Low Profile Confidence Monitor Case System

The LM Cases 55” Low Profile Confidence Monitor Case System is designed for applications where a traditional confidence monitor would sit too high on stage or interfere with audience sight lines. Instead of positioning the display in a more upright orientation, this system holds the 55” monitor at a 30-degree viewing angle, creating a much lower overall profile while still providing a clear view for presenters, performers, worship leaders, speakers, and other onstage personnel. 

The low-angle design allows the monitor system to be positioned close to the front of the stage with substantially less visual impact. In many installations, the monitor can be placed partially or completely below the stage deck or stage sight line, helping keep the display hidden from the audience while remaining easily visible from the performance position. This makes the system particularly well suited for churches, theaters, corporate events, broadcast environments, and other productions where maintaining a clean stage appearance is important.

The removable monitor caddy is constructed from 3/4” Baltic Birch plywood and finished with a durable black texture coating. An integrated rear access panel with heavy-duty Southco slam latches provides access to the monitor and internal connections, while ventilation openings help promote airflow around the display. 

Power and video connections are integrated directly into the monitor caddy through a custom I/O panel. The system includes a recessed Hubbell AC power inlet along with dual 75-ohm BNC connections for SDI input and loop-through. The engineering drawing also shows the power and BNC connections recessed into the side of the caddy for a clean, protected installation. 

For transport, the complete monitor assembly nests inside a dedicated ATA-style road case lined with 1” PE foam. The exterior case is constructed from 3/8” plywood laminated with black ABS and rides on 4” Colson casters. Deep recessed handles and integrated caster stacking wells make the system easier to move, store, and stack with other touring equipment. 

This particular system was engineered around a 55” Sony XBR-55X900F display, with the monitor positioned at approximately 30 degrees inside the low-profile caddy.
