56 Capacity Cubby Trunk For The University Of Cincinnati
The LM Cases Custom 56 Capacity Player Cubby Trunk was built for the University of Cincinnati and is designed for collegiate and professional athletic programs requiring organized player apparel storage, transport, and sideline deployment. Built for the demands of equipment rooms, road travel, and game day operations, this trunk provides dedicated storage for the folded clothing, shoes, and apparel of up to 56 players.
The interior utilizes a modular cubby design constructed from marine-grade HDPE plastic panels to provide a clean, durable, and moisture-resistant storage environment. Each compartment includes integrated player identification strips that can accommodate either dry erase marker labeling or pouch-style identification tags for quick locker room and equipment staff organization.
The modular interior structure is intentionally isolated from the exterior case shell. The compartment system is CNC cut and friction-fit together using an interlocking construction method that minimizes exposed fasteners and sharp hardware inside the storage area. This prevents clothing or apparel from snagging during loading and unloading while also creating a cleaner overall interior and exterior appearance.
By separating the interior cubby assembly from the exterior shell using isolated mounting points and foam spacing, stress and torsional loads created during transport are prevented from transferring directly into the storage compartments. This construction method improves long-term durability, especially when the case is heavily loaded and moved through stadium tunnels, loading docks, and equipment facilities.
Because the cubby system operates independently from the exterior enclosure, the entire interior assembly can be removed and replaced if operational requirements change in the future. Schools and athletic programs can reconfigure the case for different workflows without replacing the entire trunk.
A heavy-duty 3/8” clear Lexan protective cover secures the contents during transport while still allowing staff to quickly identify player compartments without opening the case. Recessed vents provide airflow throughout the enclosure to promote air circulation during equipment storage and transport.
The exterior case is constructed from 3/8” laminated plywood with a black ABS laminate exterior and utilizes heavy-duty recessed hardware, ergonomic multi-position handles, and 4” Colson EcoForma casters mounted to a full-size 3/4” caster board for maximum durability and weight support.
Unlike generic shelving carts or warehouse-style storage systems, LM Cases athletic equipment trunks are designed specifically for real-world sports operations. Every system is custom built to match the workflow requirements of equipment managers, athletic trainers, football operations staff, and traveling athletic programs.

This custom coach’s locker room wardrobe trunk was built for Youngstown State University to provide organized clothing storage, device charging, and accessory storage for coaching staff.
The trunk includes two hanging wardrobe compartments with heavy-duty aluminum hanger bars, easy-to-clean interiors, and clear Lexan doors with slam latches. Each compartment also features a side trap door that functions as a built-in dirty clothes hamper.
The left lid contains powered shelves with LM Tour Systems DSK-SM modules, providing multiple AC outlets, USB-A, and USB-C charging ports for devices. The right lid features six hinged storage compartments with internal dividers, creating 18 smaller storage sections for accessories and personal items.
Below the wardrobe compartments are two heavy-duty Baltic Birch drawers for additional storage. A central power module with additional outlets and Powercon connectivity expands charging capability, with a total of 24 AC outlets, 10 USB-A ports, and 10 USB-C ports.
The trunk is constructed from ABS-laminated plywood and finished with recessed handles and heavy-duty Colson casters for durability and mobility in locker room environments.

Coaches Wardrobe Trunk, 18 Capacity With USB Charging Drawer
This trunk was built for Penn State University for coaches who need to dress from the same wardrobe case. The case features a large hanging clothes section with a HD hanging bar. The clothes section features a trap door on the side allowing users to throw dirty clothes in the side of the closed case at the end of an event. Clothes are contained in the hanging section by a heavy duty ¾” thick clear Lexan door. Below the hanging section are 2 heavy duty drawers for storage of socks and undergarments. The left side of the case features 18 storage compartments for folded clothes and shoes. A charging drawer for 10 devices is provided for storage and charging during events. The drawer’s USB outlets are rated to charge most devices including tablets. Power to the case is provided by a retractable 30ft spring loaded power cable on an enclosed reel. The retractable cable allows the case to be easily powered without the need to carry a separate power cable.
Backstreet Boys Touring Costume Wardrobe Trunk
This case was built to hold costumes for the Backstreet Boys world tour. The case features 2 hanging clothes sections and a storage drawer. The hanging clothes sections each feature a HD aluminum bar for hangers. The bar can be adjusted in 3 positions front to back to accommodate a variety of hangers. The 2013 Deluxe Coaches Trunk is designed for teams that have to dress 30 coaches. Each Deluxe Coaches Trunk features 15 cubbies (2 trunks for 30 coaches) and a hanging clothes section. The interior of the case is treated with our proprietary black texture coating for easy cleaning. The cubbie compartments are built out of 1/2" black plastic for an extremely strong and easy to clean individualized storage section.
University Of Arkansas Coaches Trunk
This case was designed for the University of Arkansas. The case interior features a hanging clothes section that is coated with our black textured coating to allow easy cleaning. The hanging clothes section also features a locking trap door and a clear Lexan door. This allows team members to simply walk by the closed case and toss their dirty laundry through the trap door with out the need to keep the case open to save on floor space in cramped locker rooms. Underneath the hanging clothes section, there is a 1/2" Baltic birch drawer featuring 3 compartments and a matching black fiberglass laminated drawer face. The case interior also features 15 individual storage compartments for shoes or other gear. The storage compartment dividers are made out of 3/8" plastic, and the compartment is coated in black textured coating. This allows the compartments to be easily wiped out for quick cleaning.
Air Force Chooses LM Cases For Coaches Trunk
This case was built for the Air Force Academy. The case is built out of 3/8” plywood and is laminated with dark blue ABS and features a silkscreen of the teams logo. The case is designed to be used as a laundry trunk and for general storage. The right compartment is designed for laundry storage, clean clothes are hung on the clothes rod; after the game players can simply walk by the case and toss their dirty clothes into the trap door on the side of the case. The compartment features a HDPE plastic lined interior for easy cleaning and a clear Lexan door to keep dirty clothes contained during transport.

This is our standard coaches trunk. The case is built out of 3/8” plywood with your choice of laminate colors (dark blue shown), and outfitted with recessed hardware and 3.5” casters. A variety of options are available including, fiberglass laminate options, composite panels to replace traditional plywood panels, upgraded casters including large diameter field casters, vents, trap doors, and silkscreens. All of our cases are built per order, one at a time; if there is a custom option that you would like to add it can be applied during the design phase of the ordering process.
University of Georgia Coaches Trunk
This trunk was built for the University Of Georgia. The case is built out of 3/8” plywood laminated with red ABS plastic and features a silkscreen of the team's logo. The case features 15 storage compartments in each side of the case, to hold a variety of items including shoes and players personal belongings. The left side of the case features a clear Lexan door to keep the items separated from the right compartment. Each side of the case also features 2 drawers which are outfitted with a custom removable divider network. Each drawer is mounted on heavy duty Accuride drawer glides to ensure years of reliable performance. The case also features 4” Colson casters, and recessed hardware.
