Backstreet Boys Touring Costume Wardrobe Trunk
This custom touring wardrobe case was originally designed for the Backstreet Boys world tour and provides organized storage for costumes, garments, shoes and wardrobe accessories in a single heavy-duty road case. The interior is divided into two hanging clothes sections along with a large storage drawer, creating a compact wardrobe solution designed specifically for professional touring applications.
Each hanging section features its own heavy-duty clothes rod and a wood-grain laminate interior. The first section provides 28.25" W × 21.625" D × 54" H of usable space, while the second provides 28.25" W × 21.625" D × 39.625" H. The clothes rods can be positioned front-to-back to better accommodate different hanger styles and garment depths.
A heavy-duty storage drawer is integrated below the shorter hanging section. The drawer is constructed from ½" Baltic Birch plywood with a wood-grain laminate interior and face. Heavy-duty Accuride drawer glides support the drawer during repeated touring use, while a spring-loaded recessed pull handle keeps the exterior clean and snag-free. Usable drawer dimensions are 25.5" W × 19.75" D × 12" H.
The exterior case shell is constructed from ½" plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic. Ten deep-recessed handles provide multiple lifting and maneuvering positions around the case. Eight heavy-duty 4" × 2" Colson casters are mounted to full-size ¾" caster boards to distribute the load across the bottom of the case.
With maximum exterior dimensions of 45" W × 30" D × 61.875" H, including corners and casters, the case is designed around a 90" truck-pack footprint. Its 45" × 30" footprint represents a half-by-third truck pack, allowing multiple cases to efficiently utilize standard touring trailer space. The completed case weighs approximately 275 lbs.
