Behringer Wing Tour Grade Flight Case
The LM Cases Behringer WING Tour Case is a heavy-duty, ATA-style road case designed to provide maximum protection and functionality for the Behringer WING digital mixing console. Built for professional touring, live sound production, and demanding rental applications, this custom case features a three-piece design consisting of a removable nose, main lid, and console tray, allowing the WING to remain securely positioned during transport and operation.
The console rests in a custom-fitted tray featuring CNC-routed locating pockets that capture the WING's factory feet, preventing movement while maintaining its proper operating position. Additional support is provided by custom CNC-cut Crosslink (XLPE) foam blocks that contour the console's unique shape. Angled foam supports protect the sides of the console during transport, while specially notched foam in the removable nose lid captures the front palm rest to further secure the console when the case is closed.
A custom-built doghouse constructed from ¾” Baltic Birch plywood is integrated into the rear of the case. Finished with a durable black textured coating, the doghouse follows the angle of the WING console and provides a protected, carpet-lined recessed area for cable connections and accessories. Its fold-flat top lid allows convenient access to the rear connections, while routed ventilation slots promote airflow during operation. Dedicated cutouts accommodate the console's headphone connections and Littlite gooseneck lighting.
The three-piece case design provides convenient access to the console during a show without requiring the mixer to be removed from its tray. With the main lid and nose removed, the operator has unobstructed access to the control surface, while the integrated doghouse keeps rear connections organized and accessible.
The exterior case is constructed from ⅜” plywood with a durable black laminate finish and reinforced with heavy-duty aluminum extrusions, steel ball corners, and recessed hardware. Eighteen deep recessed handles provide multiple lifting and handling positions, while heavy-duty 4” Colson casters mounted to a full-size ¾” plywood caster board provide reliable mobility for frequent touring and transportation.
