Custom Touring Craft Services & Hospitality Road Case (Coffee Bar, 4K TV & WiFi)
The 2026 Barista Elite Amenities Case built by LM Cases is designed to provide a central, mobile craft services station for touring productions. The fully integrated case includes a 43” 4K monitor, Sonos Beam sound bar, commercial grade Keurig beverage maker, a DeLongi coffee maker with integrated grinder and carafe, stainless steel microwave, luxury styled refrigerator and an integrated WIFI network.
All electronic items were installed and specified by the LM Cases Custom Integration department. The case features a 43” 4K TV. This TV is mounted on a slide out shelf. During transportation, the TV rests on its back. When on a show site, the TV is extended from the case and raised up. The TV is mounted to a board attached via position control hinges. These special hinges allow the TV to behave similar to a laptop screen allowing it to be moved along a 100 degree plain and held in position without the need for additional support. Audio for the TV and the system is provided by a Sonos Beam. This Dolby Atomos compatible sound bar features 7 speakers. The system includes a built-in network with a long-range access point. The TV and sound bar are hardwired to the internal network for maximum range. The integrated data system within the case features a WIFI network. WIFI is broadcast via a long-range access point that allows connection with a 2,000 square ft diameter surrounding the case. Music streaming is done over WIFI, which is a more stable long range protocol vs Bluetooth. The system brings WAN network into the case via a 25ft LM Tour Systems locking Ethercon – RJ45 cable. This cable allows a locking ethernet connection with the case and a standard RJ45 connector to interface with standard jacks located within a building. A locking Cat6 Ethercon jack is provided to link additional systems via a LAN connection. This jack interfaces with locking Ethercon connectors and standard RJ45 connectors. If a wired network connection is not available, the router can tether to a standard smartphone via USB cable. This feature is useful for trade shows or remote facilities where wired network access is not available. Additional users can connect directly to the case’s WiFi network per normal while the network is being provided by a tethered smart phone or hot spot. Inputs and outputs of the system are centrally located on the side of the case via a custom panel. The network in “WAN” and network out “LAN” jacks, in addition to the HDMI input for the TV and the USB jack for the router are all located in this panel. 2 courtesy outlets are provided for device charging. The power outlets provided are 4 AC outlets, 3 USB C jacks and 1 USB A jack. Power is brought into the system via a recessed Hubbell 5278c inlet. A LM Tour Systems 25ft 12awg power cable is provided for the system. Power for the system is monitored via a LM Tour Systems 46-693 meter panel. This meter shows in real time the amp draw of the system and voltage of the power provided to the system. A 20amp long delay breaker is provided within this unit which allows for a central power switch. The breaker also prevents overdraw from venue power. Should the breaker trip, the central location allows for a quick reset.
As the “barista” name implies, the hospitality devices are centered around coffee machines. The main coffee machine is a DeLongi TrueBrew unit. This machine has a built-in burr grinder attached to a hopper that holds coffee beans. The machine automatically grinds coffee based on drink selection ranging from a single espresso shot to a full 40oz carafe. This machine is very useful for brewing high quality large batches of coffee for quick dispensing. The espresso function of the machine allows users who prefer this style of coffee to also enjoy beverages dispensed by this case. For off peak use, or for users who prefer tea or non-coffee beverages, a commercial grade Keurig is provided. A rack displaying 9 Keurig K-Cup pods is located to the left of the Keurig machine. Each machine is mounted to a slide out shelf allowing the machines to be used outside of the case then stored when not in use. Each shelf is built form ½” Baltic Birch, finished with black textured coating and mounted on Accuride glides. Two storage drawers are located below the coffee machines for beans, K-Cups and general accessories. The drawers follow the same construction technique as the shelves. All pull out shelves and drawers feature modern stainless steel bar handles.
A microwave with a stainless-steel finish is provided. A luxury styled refrigerator is also provided. This unit features a glass front door trimmed with stainless steel and adjustable shelves trimmed with wood. A front mounted control allows easy adjustment for the refrigerator’s temperature and interior LED lighting.
The exterior case is built from ½” plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic colors. The side of the case features a pop-up table for device charging and to display cups and condiments. The front lid is removable and features 2 sets of HD steel powder coated table legs. The integrated lid allows for a table with a surface dimension of 64” wide x 48” deep. The case rides on 4” Colson casters mounted via a ¾” Baltic Birch caster board. The front 2 casters are flocking to keep the system in place. The exterior case dimensions are 48” x 30” to fit within 96” and 90” truck packs. The refrigerator and microwave compartments have custom bent expanded metal vents for air flow.
