Large Format Tour Workbox w/Slide Out Shelf & Courtesy Power
This custom large-format touring workbox was designed and manufactured by LM Cases for Clair Global. Built for professional concert touring and live event production, the workbox features a dual-sided design incorporating configurable storage drawers, integrated courtesy power distribution, and a retractable work surface. The design provides a centralized location for equipment storage, organization, and maintenance while maintaining the durability required for touring applications.
Custom Drawer Storage System
The workbox features two independently accessible drawer sections with configurations designed to accommodate various tools, cables, connectors, and production accessories.
The interior shell and drawers are constructed from 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood. The drawers feature a durable black textured coating and 1/2" marine-grade plastic drawer faces. Each drawer is fitted with a dry-erase label, allowing users to quickly identify contents and update inventory information as storage requirements change.
A configurable divider system incorporates permanently mounted center dividers and removable partitions. The removable dividers allow individual drawer compartments to be reconfigured for different equipment sizes and storage requirements.
The drawers feature multiple usable depths, providing storage flexibility for both smaller components and larger equipment.
Two additional carpet-lined storage compartments with slam doors are incorporated into the upper portion of the workbox, providing convenient access to accessories and frequently used equipment.
Retractable Work Surface
A slide-out work surface provides a convenient area for equipment preparation, cable assembly, maintenance, and other backstage tasks.
The Formica-covered surface is mounted on locking glides that secure it in both the extended and retracted positions. When not in use, the work surface retracts into the case, eliminating the need for a separate worktable and reducing the space required backstage.
Integrated Courtesy Power Distribution
The workbox incorporates a custom courtesy power system designed to provide convenient access to AC receptacles and USB charging connections.
The integrated power panel features four Decora-style AC duplex receptacles, four USB-A charging ports, four USB-C charging ports, and two Neutrik powerCON outlets.
A six-foot powerCON cable supplies an external four-plex power bank, allowing additional AC receptacles to be positioned away from the workbox as needed.
Incoming power is supplied through a recessed power inlet with a 25-foot power cable.
Heavy-Duty Touring Construction
The workbox is constructed for the demands of professional touring and frequent transportation. The dual-sided design allows the individual sections to be separated and positioned independently, providing flexibility when organizing backstage work areas.
Each section is equipped with four heavy-duty 4" x 2" Colson casters, for a total of eight casters. All eight casters feature wheel locks to secure the workbox during use.
Eight corner handles and ten deep-recessed handles provide multiple handling points for loading, unloading, and positioning the case.
The exterior features durable ABS plastic laminate, available in a choice of colors, with professional road case hardware.

This custom 5-drawer workbox was built for Helsinki Pro Audio systems engineer Vile to organize tools and accessories at the front-of-house (FOH) position.
The case includes five Baltic Birch drawers mounted on heavy-duty glides, each carpet-lined and isolated from the exterior by foam for protection. Every drawer features custom color-changing LED lighting that can be disconnected via XLR connections if the drawers need to be removed.
The top drawer includes a True1 power outlet and a 4-plex outlet bank, powered by an integrated LM Tour Systems power supply and a 25 ft True1 power cable.
Constructed from ABS-laminated plywood, the case features multiple recessed handles for lifting and pulling, 4” casters for mobility, and stacking caster wells that allow another case to be securely stacked on top.

This custom mobile workbox was built for the Event Services department at Loyola University to provide a portable workstation for event setup and operations.
The case features integrated LED lighting, AC power outlets with plug-lock protection, and USB charging ports in the lid. The main work surface is Formica-laminated, and the lid includes a pop-up table for additional workspace.
