Avalon U5 Pelican 1450 Case
This custom case was built for dmr-rents.com and is based around a Pelican 1450 waterproof enclosure, providing durable, weather-resistant protection for the Avalon U5.
The unit is secured in a precision-cut foam insert designed to fully support the device while maintaining access to critical features. Clearance is built in for the rear ground lift switch, and the front panel remains protected without placing pressure on controls. A dedicated foam support sits between the “Speaker to Input” and “Active to Thru” switches to stabilize the face of the unit during transport.
The insert also accounts for the U5’s rubber feet, ensuring a proper seated fit, and includes an integrated compartment for power cable storage. The result is a clean, secure, and tour-ready solution for protecting and transporting the Avalon U5.

Each road case is designed to hold the musician’s molded saxophone cases. The tenor sax case features a CNC-cut Crosslink foam insert contoured to the shape of the molded case and includes dolly casters, allowing it to function as the rolling base for the alto case. A receptacle in the lid secures the alto case during transport.

This custom case is designed for the Vox AC30S1. The amplifier is held in place by custom CNC cut PE foam. The amp is surrounded by 1” foam on the top and sides with 2” PE foam underneath.
