Display Case For Cardi B’s Shure Axient Wireless Microphone
This case was designed to hold the now infamous Shure Axient Beta58 microphone that Cardi B threw at someone in the crowd during a show in Las Vegas in July of 2023. This case was donated to the microphone’s charity auction to act as a display case.
The case is a modified version of our XL Series called XTA. The XTA series utilizes recessed hardware with our XL Series aluminum extrusions. The lid features a ¼” clear Lexan lid allowing the microphone to be viewed. The back portion of the case is built from ¼” black marine grade plastic and features routed eyelets allowing the case to be hung.
The $100k microphone is held in a custom Esther foam insert that contours its shape. The foam insert is wrapped in purple crushed velvet.
