Large Format Tour Workbox For Projector Storage
This custom case built by LM Cases was designed for the Atlanta Falcons to hold office equipment. The case is designed as part of a portable touring office set up for professional football game day operations. The workbox holds multiple projectors in drawers and additional support cables and equipment. The exterior case fits traditional truck pack dimensions and is designed to also fit under a bus.
The case interior features 8 drawers. These drawers are built into a ½” plywood shell that is independent from the exterior case. This “case within a case” design protects the drawers and glides from external shock. Each drawer is built from ½” Baltic Birch plywood, finished with black textured coating and mounted on HD Accuride glides. All drawers share the same width of 21.5” and depth of 16.5” with varying heights ranging from 5.375” – 10.5”. The left side of the workbox is designed for projector storage. Drawer 1 is open for general storage. Drawer 2 holds 4 Epson Powerlite 1795F projectors in a custom foam insert. Drawer 2 and 3 hold Epson L630SU projectors in custom foam inserts. Each drawer features a hinged marine grade plastic cover that holds the projector in place should the workbox be flipped. Drawer 3 features additional storage above the hinged cover. Drawer 4 features a removable ½” marine grade plastic divider network that splits the drawer into 8 compartments. This drawer is the same size and configuration on both sides of the case. Drawers 1 – 3 on the right side mirror the same sizes as the left. These drawers are open for general storage.
The case exterior is built from ½” plywood laminated with black ABS plastic. 6 silkscreen prints of the 3 color Atlanta Falcons logo are located on the front lid and back of the case. The hardware set includes 14 deep recessed handles (2 are mounted in the caster pad), 2 large, recessed latches and flat triangle corners. The handles are positioned in a way that allows the case to be laid on its back to fit under a tour bus or operated on its casters. 8 - 4” casters are mounted to the case via a ¾” plywood caster board. 2 casters are locking. The case exterior features ½” marine grade plastic runners on all sides to prevent damage when sliding the case under a tour bus or when it is loaded via conveyer belt onto a plane.

This custom case is designed hold a Panasonic RZ970 projector with a separate lens compartment. The projector is held in a custom CNC cut, PE foam insert. A 14” x 14” x 1.75” accessory compartment is located under the projector for small parts and cables. A separate lens compartment with dimensions of 7” x 7” x 7.75” is also provided for storage. An additional carpet lined accessory compartment is provided for larger items.
Barco TLD .4:1 90 Degree Lens Flight Case
This case is designed for the Barco TLD .4:1 90-degree projector lens. The lens is held in custom CNC cut crosslink foam cradles. The lens is supported at all stress points. The nonabrasive foam prevents scratching and allows the lens to be transported without its lens caps attached.

This case is designed to hold a Barco TLD+ 7.5-11 (R9829997) projector lens. The case features custom PE foam cradles that hold the lens at each end. Crosslink foam is provided at the glass ends of the lens. The non-abrasive Crosslink foam removes the need to provide caps with the lens. The case exterior is built from ¼” plywood laminated with charcoal ABS plastic and features Panavid’s silkscreen and ID stencils to show the lens make and model. The case features flat triangle corners allowing it to be placed in a cardboard box easily for shipment.
