Dual Source Temporary Site Power System - 15 Amp 1 Phase
The LM Cases Dual Source Temporary Site Power System is designed to provide multiple power outlets such as standard AC, USB and locking Neutrik True1. The system can operate on standard 15-amp AC or be isolated from the electrical grid via its built in generator. Applications for the system include mobile offices, command centers, locker rooms and athletic sidelines.
Power is provided by 2 sources: a 125ft power cable reel or a built-in generator. The steel power cable reel is custom built for this application. It is configured with an internal slip ring which allows it to be electrified at all times. Additional cable can be pulled from the reel while it is electrified without the need to unplug. An 18 amp capable generator is provided allowing the system to be operated independently of venue power.
The generator and cable reel are mounted on HD slide out shelves. The shelves are built from ½” marine grade plastic and mounted to the case via Accuride glides. The generator can be extended from the main case on its shelf to prevent exhaust gasses from building up inside the case. It can also be removed and placed at a remote location up to 125ft away using the system’s built in cable reel. The generator model allows multiple units to be linked together for additional capacity.
The LM Tour Systems D S/1 is used as the main power output panel for the system. The panel features 15 Decora punches configured with 3 duplex outlets with dual USB C charge ports, 3 duplex AC outlets with USB A and C charge ports, 9 HD duplex outlets and 3 Neutrik True1 locking outlets. The panel is divided into 3 banks of 5 outlets. Each bank features a 15-amp hydraulic breaker and a meter measuring line voltage and amp draw. Since the panel input is limited to 15 amps, meters on each bank of power allow users to only plug in items that the available power can accommodate. The breakers are designed to trip locally to the power bank ensuring that over drawing does not trip the entire panel.
The panels locking True1 jacks are intended to provide additional outlets via LM Tour Systems 4-plex or pendant power cables. LM Tour Systems True1 Link cables can also be used to provide locking power between this system and other items using a True1 input.
The exterior case is built from ½” plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic. The case features 4 deep recessed handles and rides on 4 – 6” locking outdoor field casters. The cases lids are removable and designed to store above the power section during use. Custom silkscreens of the “international shipping symbols” are provided in addition to “Do Not Tip” stencil. ½” marine grade plastic runners are mounted to the case exterior to prevent damage.
