Piggyback Alto & Tenor Sax Cases For Mark Rivera
These cases were built to hold an alto saxophone and tenor saxophone for Mark Rivera. Each outer road case is designed to hold a molded case for each sax.
The tenor sax case features a custom CNC cut Crosslink foam interior that is custom contoured to the shape of the molded plastic tenor sax case. Reliefs in the foam are provided for the cases latches and handles. The tenor case is designed to act as the bottom dolly for the alto case. The tenor case exterior features 3”, field replaceable inboard dolly casters and a pad lockable hasp latch. A ½” marine grade plastic receptacle is located in the top lid to receive the feet of the alto case.
The alto sax case is generically lined with 1” Crosslink foam. The generic foam lining is intentional to allow for extra storage around the alto case for smaller items. The alto case features hasp latches to interface with the tenor case.
Each case is built from 3/8” composite material laminated with black ABS plastic. All hardware is deep recessed for long term durability.
