Ross TouchDrive TD2 Switcher Case
This custom tour case is designed to hold the Ross TD2 Touch Drive switcher. The switcher is held in a custom ¾” Baltic birch enclosure and features a doghouse, a 2U patch section and hinged top lid. A separate compartment in the lid is designed to hold the Ross monitor.
The case interior features custom cut foam lining that contours the shape of the switcher from the top. The switcher is held in a ¾” Baltic birch enclosure via the bottom, back and sides. The doghouse portion of the enclosure is hinged allowing full access to the back of the switcher. A 2U patch section is located on the left top side of the doghouse allowing the use of either a separate router panel or patch panel. The birch enclosure is finished with black textured coating. An Ergotron monitor arm is provided for the Ross monitor. The Ross monitor is held in a custom Crosslink lined compartment in the lid. The compartment allows the arm to remain attached to the monitor during transport.
The case exterior is built from 3/8” plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic colors. The 3-piece design allows the switcher to remain in the case tray with a removable top and nose lid. The hardware set includes 16 deep recessed handles and rides on 4” Colson casters with a full sized ¾” caster board.
