Custom Installed Video Flypack w/Pocket Doors
This custom video flypack was built for Clair Global as part of an installed package for a casino. The flypack is designed to be used internally for productions at the casino.
The top lid features (2) 12U rack bays for rack mountable video monitors. The rack sections feature 4.5” of usable depth for the monitors. The lid features a foldable sunshade. The shade is built from ½” black marine grade plastic. Each panel features heavy duty friction hinges allowing for extra stability. Once retracted, the side panels lock into grooves in the rack section fascia to keep them firmly in place. The top panel is intentionally bowed to exert downward pressure on the side panels to keep them locked in their grooves during a show. The work surface under the lid is laminated with black Formica.
The sliding work surface is built from ¾” Baltic birch and finished with black textured coating. The surface includes multi position locking glides allowing the surface to be extended and locked into various positions in 1” increments. A dual 4U rack section is located behind the work surface for patch panels.
Dual 9U rack sections are provided. Each rack section features adjustable depth rails at the front, rear and mid positions. The fronts of the racks feature pocket doors, and the backs are open per customer requests.
The case exterior is built from ½” plywood laminated with black ABS plastic. The case features an OD of 48” x 30” with the top lid featuring stacking caster wells. All hardware is deep recessed and the case rides on 4” x 2” Colson casters with the front 2 locking.
