ETC EOS Apex 10 FOH Workstation
This custom ETC Eos Apex 10 workstation case built by LM Cases is designed to transport, protect, and deploy a complete lighting-control workstation in one self-contained road case.
Built around the ETC Eos Apex 10, the workstation integrates two Dell 24" UltraSharp monitors, a 10RU equipment rack, storage compartments, drawers, a sliding work surface, and dedicated monitor storage. Rather than transporting the displays and accessories separately, the entire control system is organized into one purpose-built touring package.
Each Dell monitor is mounted to a folding post assembly designed to keep the overall lid height to a minimum during transport. The monitor arm mount slides onto the top of the folding post, allowing the displays to be quickly installed when the workstation is deployed.
For transport, the monitors can remain attached to their monitor arms and are stored in dedicated custom foam compartments built to contour the shape of each display. The screen surface is protected with non-abrasive crosslink foam, while the surrounding foam supports the monitor and arm assembly throughout transport.
Each monitor also features an integrated cable loom containing a 14/3 locking IEC-to-Edison AC power cable and HDMI cable. These cables route down into the rack section, helping keep monitor power and video connections organized as part of the workstation rather than relying on loose cabling during setup.
The case also incorporates a built-in 10RU rack for power, networking, interfaces, computers, or other system electronics. A rear trap door provides convenient access to the back of the rack for cabling, connections, and service.
A large work surface slides beneath the rack assembly for transport and extends outward when the workstation is in use. The removable front lid stores the workstation's table legs, allowing the case, support system, monitors, rack equipment, and work surface to travel together as a single package.
Additional drawers and storage compartments provide space for accessories, cabling, peripherals, and other production equipment. The interior sides and back are carpeted, while purpose-built foam components protect sensitive equipment during transportation.
Built using LM Cases' heavy-duty ATA-style construction, this workstation is designed for theaters, performing arts centers, touring productions, universities, municipalities, houses of worship, and production companies that need a lighting-control system capable of traveling as a complete, organized workstation. The case is built from 1/2" plywood laminated with Forest Green ABS

Custom Workstation Road Case For A ETC Apex 5 Lighting Console
This custom lighting workstation was built for Walt Disney World to house an ETC APEX 5 lighting console for outdoor show use.
The workstation features a slide-out shelf for the console with integrated power outlets and USB charging, along with a pole-mounted monitor on an articulating mount. A cable management doghouse and trough system keeps wiring organized and protected.
The lower section includes a 13U shock-mounted rack with cooling fans, temperature monitoring, and a custom LM Tour Systems I/O panel providing power, network, and fiber connectivity. A dedicated foam-lined compartment stores the monitor safely during transport, and two storage drawers provide additional space for accessories.
Built from ABS-laminated plywood, the workstation includes sliding pocket doors, recessed hardware, and heavy-duty Colson casters, creating a durable, mobile solution for professional lighting control.
