Medical Workbox For The Florida Panthers Hockey Team
This custom athletic trainer workbox was built by LM Cases for the Florida Panthers hockey athletic training department. The case is designed to organize and transport general medical accessories while providing a functional workstation during games, practices, and travel.
The case lid features ten clear tilting bins for storing small medical items and a built-in rubber glove dispenser for quick access during use. A removable 3/8” clear Lexan cover latches over the bins and glove holder to keep everything secure during transit while still allowing contents to remain visible. Gas springs support the lid, holding it safely open during use while assisting with smooth opening and closing.
The main work surface also incorporates a removable 3/8” clear Lexan cover secured with two Southco slam latches. This cover allows quick access to sixteen cubby compartments designed for organizing frequently used medical supplies. The cubbies are constructed from durable ½” marine-grade plastic for long-term durability in demanding environments.
Two storage drawers are included in the case body. Each drawer is constructed from ½” Baltic Birch plywood, finished with a black textured coating, and mounted on heavy-duty Accuride slides for smooth operation. Each drawer also features a hinged 3/8” clear Lexan lid to keep contents contained when the case is transported. The top drawer includes a removable tape dowel caddy constructed from marine-grade plastic with 28 rods designed to hold athletic tape rolls. The lower drawer is left open for larger medical items and general storage.
The exterior of the case is built from LM Cases’ proprietary ½” composite panels laminated with navy blue ABS plastic for strength and durability. Marine-grade plastic runners are installed on all sides of the case, allowing it to slide easily across conveyor belts and truck decks during air transport and shipping.
The hardware package includes deep recessed handles, flat triangle corners, and additional edge clamps for increased structural strength. The case rides on four 4” Colson casters mounted to a ¾” Baltic Birch caster board for reliable mobility. The removable front lid is equipped with telescoping table legs, allowing the lid to convert into a stable work surface when deployed.

Florida Panthers Hockey Athletic Trainers Medical Trunk

University of Houston Medical Trunk
This custom mobile workstation trunk was built for the University of Houston football training staff to organize medical tools and training accessories.
The lid features six Tilt Lock bin units that create 12 translucent storage compartments for small parts, allowing quick visual identification. Gas springs assist with opening, with one locking gas spring to prevent accidental lid closure.
The main work surface is made from 3/8" clear scratch-resistant Lexan, allowing users to see the contents of the drawers below. The case includes four custom Baltic Birch drawers mounted on heavy-duty Accuride glides and housed in an independent inner shell to protect the drawer system from exterior case stress. The top drawers include three compartments each, while the bottom drawers feature two larger compartments.
The workstation also includes LM Tour Systems power distribution, providing AC outlets, USB-A and USB-C charging, additional Powercon connections, and a 25 ft heavy-duty power cable.
The exterior is constructed from ABS-laminated plywood, mounted on 4" Colson casters, and includes multiple recessed handles. The front lid converts into a table with retractable legs, creating a 42" x 41.5" work surface.

Each drawer is built from ½” Baltic birch as is finished with black textured coating. The drawers are mounted on HD Accuride glides. The trunk’s front lid features a bottom divider for bottle storage.
