Studio Control Room Storage Rack/Workbox - 6U Solid Walnut
The studio control room storage rack is designed to hold rack mount equipment and peripherals in a decorative unit for installed applications. The rack is perfect for home studios, conference rooms and houses of worship where a high quality, aesthetically pleasing storage solution is required.
The rack is built from solid walnut wood that is joined via dovetails. The dove tail joinery is beautifully exposed on the case exterior and follows through to the 3 drawers. Since the case is built from solid walnut, each rack will be unique and vary in color and grain pattern. The top rack section is 6U in height. Each pre-tapped 10/32” rail is recessed ¾” on the front and rear with 16.5” rail to rail.
Each drawer features the same 18.875” width and 8.625” depth. The top 2 drawers feature 4” of height, with the bottom drawer featuring a height of 7.375”. The drawers are mounted on soft close glides and feature a walnut drawer face. The drawers come complete with a modern stainless steel bar handle
The case exterior features 2 black Penn Elcom deep recessed handles and rides on 3.5” casters. The front 2 casters are locking. This case is the same exterior dimensions as our 16U studio rack and is designed to work in tandem.
