All Black Portable Church Installed Workstation For Behringer Wing

The LM Cases Custom Front of House Workstation is a complete mobile production workspace designed to combine audio, lighting, rack equipment, monitors, accessories and operator work surfaces into one integrated system. Originally designed for a portable church application, this workstation provides a professional FOH solution that can be transported as a single case and quickly deployed in temporary or permanent production environments.

The workstation is constructed from ¾" Baltic birch plywood and finished in LM Cases' durable black texture coating, creating an all-black appearance that blends discreetly into worship spaces, theaters and other production environments. Unlike traditional black powder-coated aluminum road cases, the textured exterior can also be touched up as normal wear develops over time.

The audio side of the workstation is specifically configured for a full-size Behringer WING console. A custom support system captures the unique shape of the WING and securely retains the console inside the workstation. A built-in rear doghouse provides access to the console's connections, while integrated cable passages route analog, digital and network cabling into the rack sections below.

The opposite side provides a large work surface for a lighting console or other production equipment. An integrated articulating monitor mount allows a display to be positioned for the operator, while a slide-out shelf provides additional workspace for scripts, notes, keyboards or other production accessories.

Below the work surfaces are two large equipment rack sections with deeply recessed rack rail. The recess helps protect rack-mounted equipment from accidental contact while the workstation is in use. Rear access is provided through ventilated flush-mounted doors with heavy-duty slam latches.

A configurable rear I/O panel provides a central connection point for the workstation. The original system was equipped with connections including BNC, 5-pin DMX and Cat6, but the panel can be configured for the specific audio, lighting, network and control requirements of the system.

Three centrally located storage drawers provide space for production accessories and equipment. The upper drawers feature carpet-lined interiors for general storage, while the lower drawer incorporates non-abrasive XLPE cross-linked foam specifically designed to protect a large monitor during transport.

Clear Lexan rack doors protect the rack equipment when the workstation is being transported or stored. The doors swing open on 270-degree hinges and are designed to overlap the drawer section when closed, helping keep the drawers secured during transportation.

The removable top lid also serves a second purpose. Two sets of telescoping legs are stored inside the lid and secured with hook-and-loop straps during transport. Once removed from the workstation, the lid can be converted into a large standalone production table, providing additional FOH workspace without requiring another piece of furniture.

Heavy-duty casters allow the completed workstation to be moved into position, while recessed handles and black road-case hardware maintain the clean, low-profile appearance of the system.

This workstation is ideal for portable churches, touring productions, theaters, corporate AV systems, live event production and other applications where audio and lighting control need to travel together in a compact, organized FOH package.
