Bubble Group Tour Merchandise Case
This custom merch tour case was built for The Bubble Group. The case is designed to hold t-shirts, hoodies and general merchandise to be sold at shows. The case includes 6 shelves, dual doors with slat wall, LED lights and a 50” monitor mounted on a flip up lid for video content.
The case interior is finished with white textured coating. Each shelf is built from ¾” Baltic Birch and supported by steel bars. The usable storage area for each compartment is 47.5” wide x 26.25” deep x 9” tall. The front of the case features 2 armoire doors that open against the front of the case bady for additional display space. Each door is fitted with slat wall allowing for custom configurations based on the type of merchandise being displayed.
The interior electronic components were installed by the LM Cases Custom Integration department. Each shelf is outfitted with a color changing LED strip which is custom cut and soldered. The LED’s terminate at a switched box protected by a cable hatch on the exterior of the case. The box contains the IR eye for the lights and keeps the power supply and color changing module protected. A 50” Sony HDTV is supplied for displaying digital signage video content during events. The monitor is mounted on a custom board that allows it to flip up during use. The board is supported by position control friction hinges and gas springs to assist in movement. The monitor is protected during transport by a fold down Crosslink foam cover. It is also supported my crosslink foam blocks that contour the unique storage angle of the monitor providing additional protection. The monitor power is hardwired to a custom inlet box located on the side of the case. Dual HDMI jacks are provided in the inlet box allowing for media devices to operate behind the case during use. The power box features a recessed inlet and comes complete with a LM Tour Systems 12awg 25ft AC power cable.
The exterior case is built from ½” plywood laminated with black ABS plastic. The case rides on 4” casters and features deep recessed hardware. The maximum exterior dimensions of the case including casters and hardware are 49.25” wide x 32” deep x 82.75” tall.
