NY Jets Portable Coffee & Sewing Workbox
This custom coffee and sewing equipment room trunk built by LM Cases was designed for the New York Jets as a mobile support station for equipment staff. Rather than dedicate separate cases to sewing supplies, small hardware, a coffee station, tools, and accessories, this trunk combines those functions into one organized, road-ready workstation. The original build was finished in Forest Green and weighs approximately 155 lbs. empty.
One side of the trunk incorporates a large multi-drawer storage system with a variety of drawer configurations for small parts, supplies, tools, and equipment-room accessories. The design includes several shallow drawers for smaller items along with deeper drawers for larger supplies. One drawer is specifically configured with 24 vertical dowel-style positions, providing organized storage for spools or similar sewing-related materials.
The opposite side is built around the daily workflow of an equipment staff. A dedicated sliding work surface creates additional workspace when needed, while a lower compartment provides protected storage for a sewing machine. The case also incorporates an open storage compartment and dedicated areas for larger accessories.
Above the sliding work surface is an integrated Keurig and cup holder station, allowing the trunk to serve double duty as a mobile coffee station in the equipment room, locker room, or training environment. Keeping the coffee equipment incorporated into the trunk helps reduce clutter and gives staff a defined location for supplies rather than using a separate table or countertop.
A built-in cable reel and cable hatch provide a clean way to manage power cabling for the equipment housed inside the trunk. The reel is stored low in the case, with the cable routed through a dedicated hatch so power can be deployed without leaving loose extension cords stored throughout the workstation.
The sewing machine storage area is protected with custom PE foam, helping keep the machine secure while the trunk is being transported. The interior also incorporates Baltic birch, Starboard, and other durable materials selected for the individual storage and work surfaces.
Built using LM Cases' heavy-duty ATA-style construction, the trunk rides on heavy-duty casters and uses recessed road-case hardware for frequent movement around athletic facilities and during team travel.
This case is ideal for professional and collegiate sports equipment staffs, wardrobe departments, costume departments, touring productions, and other organizations that need sewing equipment, supplies, workspace, power management, and everyday support items consolidated into a single mobile station.

The coffee section features a commercial-grade Keurig mounted on a slide-out shelf with a custom CNC-cut bracket and foam retention to keep the machine secure during transport. Power is supplied through a 30 ft retractable cable reel, eliminating the need for a separate power cable. Storage includes three drawers with inserts for up to 240 K-Cups and a small wire rack for additional coffee supplies.
The workstation also includes dedicated storage for a Singer 4411 sewing machine and a drawer with thread dowels for organizing spools. This custom mobile equipment workstation was built for the New York Jets equipment management staff to organize and service tools, tape, and small accessories.
The trunk lid features an 8×3 grid of pegboard-mounted SmartJars that create 24 compartments for small parts, along with eight custom storage compartments made from marine-grade plastic with clear Lexan hinged doors and Southco slam latches. The lid also includes dedicated inserts for a cordless drill and rivet gun and is supported by gas shocks, including one locking shock for safety.
The main work surface is constructed from white marine-grade plastic for high visibility when working with small components. Beneath it are six storage drawers made from ½” Baltic Birch, mounted on heavy-duty Accuride glides and lined with carpet and marine-grade plastic dividers.
The case exterior is built from ABS-laminated plywood and features front doors with 270-degree hinges, recessed hardware, and 6” field casters for durability and mobility.
University of Houston Medical Trunk
This custom mobile workstation trunk was built for the University of Houston football training staff to organize medical tools and training accessories.
The lid features six Tilt Lock bin units that create 12 translucent storage compartments for small parts, allowing quick visual identification. Gas springs assist with opening, with one locking gas spring to prevent accidental lid closure.
The main work surface is made from 3/8" clear scratch-resistant Lexan, allowing users to see the contents of the drawers below. The case includes four custom Baltic Birch drawers mounted on heavy-duty Accuride glides and housed in an independent inner shell to protect the drawer system from exterior case stress. The top drawers include three compartments each, while the bottom drawers feature two larger compartments.
The workstation also includes LM Tour Systems power distribution, providing AC outlets, USB-A and USB-C charging, additional Powercon connections, and a 25 ft heavy-duty power cable.
The exterior is constructed from ABS-laminated plywood, mounted on 4" Colson casters, and includes multiple recessed handles. The front lid converts into a table with retractable legs, creating a 42" x 41.5" work surface.

This custom mobile wardrobe trunk was built for Madison Square Garden to serve as a portable clothing storage and transport solution.
The trunk features a hanging wardrobe compartment with a heavy-duty aluminum hanger bar, carpet-lined interior, and a web strap with buckle to secure garments during transport. Recessed ventilation ports help provide airflow while the trunk is in storage or transit.

This custom coach’s locker room wardrobe trunk was built for Youngstown State University to provide organized clothing storage, device charging, and accessory storage for coaching staff.
The trunk includes two hanging wardrobe compartments with heavy-duty aluminum hanger bars, easy-to-clean interiors, and clear Lexan doors with slam latches. Each compartment also features a side trap door that functions as a built-in dirty clothes hamper.
The left lid contains powered shelves with LM Tour Systems DSK-SM modules, providing multiple AC outlets, USB-A, and USB-C charging ports for devices. The right lid features six hinged storage compartments with internal dividers, creating 18 smaller storage sections for accessories and personal items.
