Custom Refrigerator/Microwave/Keurig Amenities Road Case
This custom amenities road case was built for Dimensional Worldwide. The case includes a refrigerator, microwave and a commercial grade Keurig coffee maker. The internal structure also includes a compartment for folding chairs, 4 storage drawers and a slide out shelf for a printer.
Each component in the case is stored in a custom foam lined compartment. Interior dividers are built from either ¾” or ½” Baltic birch plywood. Beginning with the left side of the case, the interior features a folding chair compartment with usable dimensions of 5.5” wide x 38” tall x 25” deep. Above the folding chair compartment is a carpet lined accessory compartment designed for general storage. The refrigerator and microwave are enclosed in custom compartments lined with PE foam. Each compartment features a custom bent, expanded metal vent on the rear. A commercial grade Keurig beverage maker is mounted on a slide out shelf. A custom 10 capacity K-Cup holder board is provided for quick access to coffee pods. All appliance power cords were upgraded with locking connectors to prevent accidental disconnection during transportation. A slide out shelf with a custom marine grade plastic bracket is included for a customer provided printer. A duplex power outlet is provided behind the printer shelf to accommodate the printer’s AC/DC power supply. A 30ft retractable cable reel is provided as the main power input source which eliminates the need to carry a separate power cable that can get lost. The LM Cases Custom Integration department provided and wired all equipment shown in this system.
The case features 4 storage drawers in 2 different sizes. A group of 3 drawers is provided under the Keurig with usable interior dimensions of 13.375” wide x 16” deep x 3.625” tall. A larger bottom drawer is included with the same width & depth dimensions with a usable height of 8.75”. The drawers are built from ½” Baltic Birch, mounted on HD Accuride glides and finished with black textured coating.
The case exterior is built from 3/8” plywood laminated with black ABS plastic. The front lid features 2 sets of HD steel table legs. The case’s hardware set includes 12 deep recessed handles and pad lockable hasp latches. The case rides on 4” Colson casters with the front 2 casters featuring brakes. The casters are mounted to the case shell via a full sized ¾” plywood caster board.
