Smart Technologies PA System Case
This case was designed for Smart Technologies. The case is designed to transport the PA system used for trade shows around the world in the most demanding transportation situations. The case is also designed to be easy to move by incorporating over a years worth of ergonomic research by the LM Cases design department. This case features custom "pole" handles mounted in the front and rear lid that allow 90% of North American Males & Females to push or pull the case with their arm and forearm at a 90 degree angle. This angle allows maximum force to be applied with the least amount of physical strain. To aid in moving the case, we outfitted it with custom designed Darcor 3 wheel casters. The casters allow the outer two wheels to spin in opposite directions taking the weight off the center caster which makes the case easier to move.
10 RU Recording Outboard Rack
This case is designed to hold rack mounted outboard gear as well as a computer keyboard and mouse, the case will be used in a mobile production environment as well as in a studio. The rack is complementary to our sound isolation rack, where the computer and hard drives are stored in the isolation rack; the mouse, keyboard and monitor are located on the outboard rack. This is beneficial in studios that use mixing consoles, the case can be placed perpendicular to the mixer and allow the user a place to hold their computer monitor, mouse and keyboard; while the isolation rack that holds the computer can be kept at a distance.
Apple Mac Pro Flypack Case
This case was designed with the mobile recordist in mind. The case holds an Apple Mac Pro tower in a 2" foam lined compartment and a foam shock mounted 8 RU rack above the computer. The computer is held in with foam blocks allowing the front of the computer to remain flush with the front foam of the case. The back of the computer compartment has blocks that hold the computer by the corners to allow room for all connections on the back of the computer and prevent it from moving front to back in the compartment. There is a "U" shaped cable passage between the computer and the rack to allow cable connectivity between the two compartments without interfering with the rear lid.
Pelican Xbox 360 Kinect Case
This case was designed for PSAV. The case is designed to hold an entire Xbox 360 system and games in a Pelican 1650 case. The system components are held in a custom CNC cut insert that allows each item(s) to have an individual foam lined compartment.
Bridgestone/Firestone Pegisys Test Case
This diagnostic test equipment case was designed for Bridgestone/Firestone. The case will be shipped via UPS, so durability and light weight were a top concern on this project. The case was built using our proprietary 3/8" composite panels which allows the case to be light weight as well extremely strong.
Presonus 24.4.2 Case With Doghouse
This case was designed for a Presonus Studiolive 24. The case features a 1" foam lined interior and a custom 3/4" Birch doghouse that contours the back of the board. The exterior case is made out of 1/4" plywood and features 5 recessed handles.
Line 6 XD-V70 Wireless Mic Case
This case was designed for the Audio Visual Professional Group. The case holds a Line 6 XD-V70 wireless mic system in a custom CNC cut foam insert. The insert holds the microphone in its factory case as well as the receiver, antennas, power supply & cables.
Shure ULX/P Wireless Mic Case
This case was designed for Visual Aids Electronics. The design is based around a Pelican 1550 case, the case features a custom CNC cut foam insert to hold the wireless system. Each component of the system is held in a custom foam lined compartment. This allows both VAE and their customers to realize if a piece of the system is missing before sending or returning the case to and from a rental.
Samsung UN55D8000YF Monitor Case
This case was designed and built for Boeing. We spec'd our "E-Style" monitor case for their particular transportation application due to the extremely high level of protection the case offers. The E-Style design utilizes an interior and exterior case to hold the monitor. The interior case is a 3/8" lift off lid style case that allows the user to place the monitor face down in the thin tray of the inner case, while the larger top portion is then latched on. This allows for easy loading and unloading of the monitor, the top lid section has a large open section in the center to accommodate for the monitor's wall mount.
Soundcraft Vi1 Case
This case was designed for KM Productions NY. The case features a removable front and top lid, allowing easy access to the front of the console during a show. The bottom tray features a 2 rack space section for a drawer and or keyboard shelf. The interior case also features a custom 3/4" Birch doghouse that contours the rear profile of the console. The doghouse features a double hinged top which allows the top cover to fold completely back for easy access. This doghouse also has a hinged back panel allowing the entire back and top of the doghouse to fold open.
Custom Novation/Akai DJ Controller Case
This case was designed for Nate Edwards, DJ extraordinaire at Sweetwater. The case is based around an Apple iPad 2, which serves as the sound module of the rig. Control is provided by 2 Akai LPD8's and a Novation Nocturn. These items are held in a custom foam insert which allows all the items to remain in a user friendly position and wired together. In order for all of the equipment to remain flush with the top of the insert, we cut custom angled foam blocks to match any contour in the gear; a picture of the angled foam blocks under the Novation Nocturn is shown below. The case lid features custom angled foam blocks to contour each piece of gear so they will stay secure in the foam insert no matter how the case is transported. The foam insert sits on an angled rack which has 1RU in the front and 2RU in the rear and features a removable bottom for easy wiring. The 1/2" Baltic Birch rack is finished with a black textured coating, and can be used at a stand alone unit or used in the case tray.
Presonus Studio Live 24.4.2 Case
This case is designed for the Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2. The case interior is lined with 1" foam and is designed to allow easy access to the i/o section of the board as well as the front headphone jack. The exterior case is built out of 3/8" plywood and features a pull off latched lid and 3 handles.
Yamaha IF2205 Speaker Case
This case was designed for Yamaha Commercial Audio. The case is designed to hold 6 Yamaha IF2205 speakers in a custom CNC cut foam insert. There is also a large accessory area for flyware or any cables.
CoachComm Custom Built Sideline Case For LSU
This case was designed for Coachcomm Inc. to be used in a custom sideline application for LSU. The case features a dual 13 RU shockmounted rack for Coachcomm's communications equipment. The rack features a high output fan, vent, and cable passage for each rack section. The rack also features a custom rear removable panel with the Coachcomm logo to hide component wiring.
Fender Jazz Bass ATA Case
This case was built for Air Force Entertainment. The case holds a Fender Jazz Bass in a custom CNC cut foam insert lined with black crushed velvet. The case interior features an accessory compartment and an adjustable neck block to accommodate Jazz Basses from different eras with different necks.
