Yamaha TF1 Installed FOH Workstation
This custom installed workstation was designed for a Yamaha TF1 console. The workstation features all black hardware and is used in a front of house application in a church.
The case is built from ¾” Baltic Birch plywood finished with black textured coating. The console is fitted in a custom compartment that contours its shape. The sides are 1.5” thick and feature vent cutouts. The console is held in position by its feet by custom marine grade plastic brackets.
A 16RU rack section is provided for equipment storage. The rack section features a front pocket door which slides into the side of the case via glides during use. The back of the rack features a removable lid with custom vents. The vents in the rear lid are made from pressed expanded metal that has a 1/8” radius on all edges.
Power and signal are brought into the case via LM Tour Systems power inlet box. The box features a punch for a Hubbell 5278 recessed male inlet. In this system, the customer requested a Powercon inlet with the option to change back to an Edison AC if needed. The LM Tour Systems 5278 To D-Series Adapter Plate was used to convert the 5278 cutouts to a D-Punch. The inlet box also features 4 D-Punches for customer installed connectors. A 15ft LM Tour Systems Powercon – Edison cable was provided for power.
Black Penn Elcom handles and Southco slam latches were provided for hardware. The case rides on 4” Colson 4” x 2” casters. The front 2 casters are locking.
