Custom Knaack Touring Set Carpenter Workbox w/Steel Cart, LED Lighting & Power Distribution
Built for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), this custom touring set carpenter workbox combines a KNAACK Model 112 Jobmaster steel cabinet with a fully integrated transport, storage, lighting, and power distribution system designed and fabricated by LM Cases.
The project began with a simple objective: transform a traditional jobsite tool cabinet into a complete mobile workstation capable of supporting WWE's set carpenters throughout their touring schedule. LM Cases designed and fabricated a custom welded steel transport frame that surrounds the KNAACK cabinet while providing additional storage, equipment mounting, and the mobility needed for stadium and arena productions.
The transport cart is constructed from 1" welded steel box tubing with reinforced structural supports and a durable black powder-coated finish. The cart features 6" casters for mobility and integrated forklift pockets for loading and unloading. An additional side compartment provides a dedicated mounting location for a miter saw, along with open storage bins for ladders, brooms, and other oversized tools and supplies. Integrated mounting rails provide additional options for securing equipment during transport.
Inside the KNAACK cabinet, LM Cases created a fully customized tool organization system. Each drawer features precision CNC-cut polyethylene foam inserts designed around the customer's specific collection of tools. Dedicated compartments accommodate cordless power tools, pneumatic nailers, hand tools, drill bits, measuring equipment, and accessories. Select drawers feature removable foam trays, maximizing usable storage space while keeping tools organized and readily accessible.
A custom LM Tour Systems power distribution system provides convenient AC power and USB charging throughout the cabinet. The rack-mounted power panels feature integrated voltage and current monitoring, a 20A circuit breaker, Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 connections, and multiple courtesy power outlets. Additional power distribution boxes are installed inside the cabinet for battery chargers and other equipment. An exterior recessed power connection allows the workbox to be connected to shore power, with additional connectivity for distributing power to other equipment.
Integrated LED lighting illuminates the cabinet from the top and sides. The dimmable fixtures are housed in custom marine-grade plastic channels with diffusers for even illumination. An infrared-controlled switching system automatically activates the lighting when the cabinet doors are opened and shuts the lights off after a period of inactivity.
The finished system combines the rugged security and storage capacity of a KNAACK jobsite cabinet with the specialized fabrication, electrical integration, and organizational capabilities of LM Cases. Designed as one of three matching workboxes for WWE, this project demonstrates how LM can transform conventional industrial equipment into a purpose-built touring solution.

Coffee Maker Amenities Case For Northwestern University
This custom coffee and amenities workstation case was built for Northwestern University to provide a mobile beverage and refreshment station.
The case includes a commercial Keurig coffee maker on a slide-out shelf with custom retention and a drip coffee urn used to serve the university’s special blend known as “Jarv Juice.” An illuminated sign with the Northwestern logo and purple LED lighting indicates when the coffee is ready. The system also features a cup dispenser, paper towel dispenser, and multiple storage drawers for supplies.
A built-in refrigerator with a glass door and LED lighting provides cold storage, while additional drawers with dividers organize beverages and accessories.
Power is supplied through a locking Neutrik True1 inlet with a 25 ft cable, ensuring secure power during use. This custom 5-drawer workbox was built for Helsinki Pro Audio systems engineer Vile to organize tools and accessories at the front-of-house (FOH) position.
The case includes five Baltic Birch drawers mounted on heavy-duty glides, each carpet-lined and isolated from the exterior by foam for protection. Every drawer features custom color-changing LED lighting that can be disconnected via XLR connections if the drawers need to be removed.
The top drawer includes a True1 power outlet and a 4-plex outlet bank, powered by an integrated LM Tour Systems power supply and a 25 ft True1 power cable.
Constructed from ABS-laminated plywood, the case features multiple recessed handles for lifting and pulling, 4” casters for mobility, and stacking caster wells that allow another case to be securely stacked on top.
