Nvidia Compact IT Workbox
This case was designed for Nvidia to be a portable workbox for their trade show IT department. The case is designed to help support smaller shows where space is a concern.
The case lid is supported by gas springs allowing it to stay open even if bumped. The top lid is also supported by recessed hardware lid stays for redundancy. A Chief tilt mount is provided in the case lid allowing a monitor to be mounted. Below the lid is a work surface finished with black Formica. 6 flush mounted courtesy outlets are provided at the rear of the work surface. The courtesy outlet power strip is wired directly to a fully enclosed Hubbell power inlet box located at the back right of the case. The inlet box is protected by a recessed cable hatch. A custom built heavy duty 12awg 3 conductor 25ft power cable is included with the case. All cables and electronic component installation and construction was handled by the LM Cases Custom Integration dept.
The case features 5 drawers. The top 2 drawers feature removable dividers allowing users to uniquely configure each drawer quickly without the need for tools. Each drawer includes 6 divider panels. The middle two open drawers feature usable dimensions of 9.25” wide x 14” deep x 7.5” tall. The bottom open drawer features usable dimensions of 23” wide x 10.25” deep x 7” tall. All drawers are built out of ½” Baltic Birch, mounted on HD Accuride glides and finished with black textured coating.
The case exterior is built out of 3/8” plywood and features neon green lid accents. 2 color Nvidia silkscreens are printed on the front, back and top of the case. The front removable lid features table legs. The case rides on 4” x 2” Colson HD casters (2 locking) and features deep recessed hardware.
