Outer Transport Case For LM 4RU Studio Outboard Rack
This outer case is designed to transport the LM Cases 16-0928 4RU Studio Outboard Rack. The case allows the rack shell to be easily loaded and removed. The shell is supported on all four sides by 1” Ester foam. The corners of the case are open to provide grab points to remove the rack shell. All surfaces not covered by foam are finished with black carpet.
The exterior case is built from 3/8” plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic colors. The case features front & rear removable lids, and 2 deep recessed handles.

The system features a welded steel fly frame with a 4U rack, designed to be suspended from a line array bumper. The inner frame includes six forged steel hoist rings—four for load bearing and two for safety tethers—each rated for high load capacity with industry safety certifications.
The rack includes front and rear rack rails, safety blocks to prevent equipment from slipping out, and a marine-grade plastic dust cover with space for cable routing. Vibration isolation mounts separate the inner fly frame from the outer case to protect equipment during operation.
The exterior is built from ABS-laminated plywood with recessed handles, serving as a protective shell while the internal frame supports the load when flown.

The case features an upper 12U rack section designed for preview monitors and scopes, along with a perpendicular 1U rack space for a Clear-Com base station. Behind the rack are three storage drawers with configurable dividers for organizing accessories and equipment.
