Penn State Sideline Drawer Trunk w/Fold Flat Lids
This trunk was designed for Penn State as a sideline storage unit. The trunk features 9 HD drawers and fold flat front lids for fast deployment.
The drawers are built into a ½” plywood inner shell. The inner shell containing the drawers is isolated by foam from the outer trunk shell. The allows separation between the inner shell and outer case for maximum durability. Each drawer is built from ½” Baltic Birch plywood, mounted on HD Accuride glides, and finished with black textured coating. The top 3 drawers feature rain guards built from 3/8” clear Lexan lids.
The top left drawer features 12 compartments with removable ¼” marine grade plastic dividers.The left and right drawer sets feature usable dimensions of 12.875” wide x 21.25” deep x 4.5” tall. The center column of drawers have usable dims of 10” wide x 21.25” deep x 4.5” tall. The 6 drawers below the top row feature usable heights of 10” with widths and depths corresponding to the top drawer in the row.
The trunk exterior is built from ½” plywood laminated with navy blue ABS plastic. The front lids of the trunk are designed to fold flat against the sides and be held in place via magnets. The case features deep recessed handles, paddle slam latches, flat triangle corners, and rides on 6” casters.
