Custom Novation/Akai DJ Controller Case
This case was designed for Nate Edwards, DJ extraordinaire at Sweetwater. The case is based around an Apple iPad 2, which serves as the sound module of the rig. Control is provided by 2 Akai LPD8's and a Novation Nocturn. These items are held in a custom foam insert which allows all the items to remain in a user friendly position and wired together. In order for all of the equipment to remain flush with the top of the insert, we cut custom angled foam blocks to match any contour in the gear; a picture of the angled foam blocks under the Novation Nocturn is shown below. The case lid features custom angled foam blocks to contour each piece of gear so they will stay secure in the foam insert no matter how the case is transported. The foam insert sits on an angled rack which has 1RU in the front and 2RU in the rear and features a removable bottom for easy wiring. The 1/2" Baltic Birch rack is finished with a black textured coating, and can be used at a stand alone unit or used in the case tray.
Custom Mac Pro Workstation Case
This case was designed for Situation Interactive. The case is designed to hold 6RU of rack mounted gear, as well as a Mac Pro tower, accessories and a rack mounted slide out shelf on the bottom of the case. The Mac Pro tower is held in a 2" foam lined compartment with a piece of white HDPE plastic on the bottom for easy loading and unloading of the tower. To the right of the computer compartment are 2 carpet lined storage compartments for prepherials; below the storage compartments is a removable 3/8" plywood storage caddy. There is a total of 8 RU of storage in the case, 6 RU on top of the case for equipment and 2 RU below for a slide out rack mountable shelf.
Video Flypack Rack w/Monitor
This case was designed for RCI Sound Systems. The case features 12RU equipment section with a 32" deep rack shell. The HP L2105 monitor is mounted on a Premier AM50-B mount. The mount allows the monitor to articulate as well as spin from landscape to portrait viewing positions.
Pelican 1150 Hard Drive Case
This case is designed to hold 7 firewire hard drives. The case features a custom CNC cut insert with a removable foam plug to accommodate either 4 or 7 drives.
Nintendo Mac Pro Workstation
This case was built for Nintendo Of America. The case is designed to hold a Mac Pro tower and peripherals. There is a pull out shelf mounted on HD Accuride glides for a keyboard/laptop as well as two divided compartments for additional storage.
Booz Allen Hamilton 26” NEC Monitor/Levono Laptop Case
This case was built for Booz Allen Hamilton for their touring trade show department. The case is built out of our proprietary 1/2" composite panels and is outfitted with a 1/4" aluminum forklift guard around the bottom of the case. The exterior also feature stacking caster wells mounted in 3/4" birch plywood pads and a custom silkscreen of the companies logo. The interior of the case features a custom CNC cut foam insert that holds 4 - 26" NEC LCD monitors and 5 Levono laptops. There are also two accessory compartments for peripheral cable and misc. storage.
16RU Rack w/Widescreen Monitor Mount
This case was built for Accent Electronic Systems. The case is designed to hold a 19" LCD monitor on a telescoping Premier mount, with space for a mouse, keyboard and 16 RU of gear below.
Portable Server Rack For Oracle Sun Fire X4140 Server
This case is designed to transport an Oracle Sun Fire X4140 server. The case and inner rack shell are built from 3/8" plywood. The inner rack shell is 30" deep and surrounded by 2" foam and features front and rear pre tapped rack rail.
Apple iPod Touch & MacBook Pro Case
Although we can't tell you who this case was for. We can tell you that it was designed to hold 45 iPod touches, 3 MacBook Pro laptop's and an AirPort wireless router. The interior of the case features a custom CNC cut insert cut out of PE foam to allow each component its own custom compartment. This not only keeps things organized, it also allows for a quick visual scan of the case to see whether all of the components are accounted for. The interior also features a vinyl document sleeve in the lid for storing documents while the case is on the road.
Cisco Chooses LM Cases For Their Mobile Server Rack
This case was designed to house Cisco servers used in mobile applications. The case is built out of 1/2" plywood, and features a 1/2" inner rack shell mounted in 2" of foam to provide shock protection. The rack holds 21RU of gear features a 33" deep shell to accommodate the extra deep servers. The case features all recessed hardware and 4" x 2" HD casters mounted on a Birch pad. WWE Computer IT Workbox
This case was made for long time LM Cases customer World Wrestling Entertainment. The case is designed to house support equipment for WWE's touring IT department. WWE chose to build the case using 1/2" composite panels to allow for easier global touring. By not using traditional plywood panels, the risk of unintentionally transporting wood burrowing insects was eliminated. Even the wheel pad was made from 1/4" thick aluminum versus the standard Birch plywood. The "zero wood content" option helps them get through customs much quicker without the need for fumigation.
Interpol Playback Rack
This case was made for the band Interpol. The case is built to hold 2 Apple MacBook Pro computers as well as rack mounted equipment. The computers sit on a Comatex plastic work surface to allow for heat dissipation, the work surface also features 2 cable passages to the rack section. For security reasons, there are to D-Ring shackles mounted in the rack section which allow for the computers to be tethered via a security cable.
WYSE Thin Client Terminal Case
This case was built for John Hagee Ministries - IT Department. The case is a double hinged work station (T-Style lid closure), allowing storage for four sets of point of sale stations and 1 drawer per side of the case for a total of 8 groups of workstations & 2 drawers per case. Each group of items includes a Dell point of sale computer, a WYSE Thin Client PC, a WYSE Mobile Thin Client laptop and two bar code scanners (group shot pictured below).
Large Format Portable Server Rack
This case was built for John Hagee Ministries IT Department. The case is built out of 1/2" plywood and features a 1/2" shock mounted inner rack. The rack features a 40" deep shell as well as front and rear captive nut box rail to accommodate the deep server units.
HP Laserjet Printer Case
This case was built for John Hagee Ministries' IT department. The case holds 4 HP Laser Jet printers in 2" foam lined compartments. Each compartment features a white HDPE plastic floor allowing for easy loading and removal of each unit. The case is built out of 1/2" plywood and features a pad-lockable hasp, 4" x 2" HD casters and deep recessed handles. Special thanks to John Hagee Ministries!
