Medical Trunks
University of Houston Medical Trunk
This trunk was built for the University of Houston football training staff. The case is designed to be a mobile work station that holds a variety of training accessories and mecdical tools. The trunk lid features six Tilt Lock bin units (NOTE - these are now discontinued) that provide twelve individual storage compartments for small parts. The Tilt Lock bins feature translucent plastic that allow users to quickly see the contents of each bin at eye level. The lid is supported with gas springs that aid in the opening and closing of the lid. One of the two gas springs feature a locking mechanism to prevent the lid from accidentally closing during use. The main work surface is built out of clear 3/8" scratch resistant Lexan, which allows users to see the contents of the drawers mounted below. The main body of the case features four drawers. The drawers are built into a 1/2" plywood inner shell that is independent of the exterior case. The separate shell allows the drawers to be independent from the exterior case, which allows the appearance of a cleaner exterior due to the lack of exposed rivets used for mounting the drawers. It also prevents any flexing or loading that the case exterior endures from transferring to the drawer glides. Each drawer is custom built out of 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood and mounted on HD Accuride glides. The top two drawers feature two dividers allowing each drawer to be divided into three compartments. The bottom two drawers feature a single center divider allowing two compartments. Each compartment in the top two drawers is 11.25" wide x 21" deep x 7.5" tall. The bottom drawer compartments are 17.125" wide x 21" deep x 7.5" tall.
KC Chiefs Athletic Trainer’s Locker Room Medical Workstation
This custom locker room trunk was built for the Kansas City Chiefs as an all-in-one workstation for their traveling athletic trainers. The trunk holds items in neat and organized bins and provides a work surface for tasks.
PGA Tour Medical Workbox
This trunk was built for the PGA Tour’s medical staff. The trunk is designed to be a central medical supply station.
Cleveland Browns Fluids Trunk
This trunk was built for the Cleveland Browns. The case is designed to be a mobile work station that holds a variety of accessories and various tools. Detroit Tigers Medical Workbox
This trunk was designed for the Detroit Tigers as a medical workstation to be used in the teams locker room. The trunk features 3 Tilt Lock bins mounted in the lid, a work surface with an integrated power strip and 3 storage drawers.
PennCare Portable Emergency Medical Station
This case was designed and built for PennCare as a "point of medical care" for EMS responders first on scene. The case is designed to hold medical supplies in a heavy duty portable format allowing the case to be used in the field for disaster response or in hospitals during increased surges in patients. The case features 3 drawers made out of 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood that are finished with wipeable black texture coating. The case features a white Formica work surface with 6 Tilt Lock bins mounted in the case lid. The removable font lid features table legs that allow the lid to be quickly converted into a table for an additional work surface.
Athletic Trainers Zoll AED Transport Case
The response kit its based around a Pelican 1600 case. The kit includes a custom foam insert to hold a Zoll AED Plus, bag valve mask, scissors and a blood pressure cuff. The case also comes equipped with a two layer storage unit in the lid for small items like an epi-pen and first aid items.
The case interior is lined with Crosslink foam, which is a closed cell; class A surface. This means that the case interior will not absorb liquids and can be easily cleaned. The top of the foam insert is covered in 1/4″ black plastic for maximum durability.
The response kit is designed to be portable and water proof so athletic trainers can use it for all sports and in all conditions. Its yellow color makes it easily visible for quick access in emergency situations.
Portable Athletic Trainers Tape Kit
This case is designed to be a light weight waterproof solution for the mobile athletic trainer. The case features a removable plastic bin with a removable tape caddy that hold 120 rolls of 2″ tape. Below the bin are 6 compartments with removable plastic dividers that can hold anything from cold packs and bandages to stethoscopes and portable AED’s. The case comes complete with a handy erasable white board mounted in the case lid.
The exterior case is a Pelican 1630 which is completely waterproof and features an unconditional lifetime guarantee.
Missouri Southern State University Athletic Trainer Medical Workbox
This case was designed for Missouri Southern State University. The case holds all the necessary medical items used for treating injured players. This case is designed to fit in a standard sized bus bay, to make the loading & unloading process easier the case is outfitted with white UHMW plastic runners and handles mounted in the caster pad allowing the case to be handled easily in any direction and keep the wear on the case to a minimum.
Florida Gators Medical Trunk
This case was built for the Florida Gators to hold all the teams medical equipment. The lid features a storage unit that has 24 individual drawers for small items such as bandages. The lid also features 2 storage compartments for bottles, the items stored in the lid are kept in place during transport via a laminated panel with Southco slam latches. The interior of the case features a large carpet covered work surface, with 3 large drawers mounted on Accuride drawer glides for storage.
University of California at Berkeley Medical Case
This case was built for the athletic department of the University of California At Berkeley. The case is designed to be rolled out on the sideline and left there for the duration of the event so the trainers can have access to their medical equipment in case of an emergency. The case features 6 large yellow plastic bins with removable dividers to hold items, as well as 5 drawers, a plastic container holding bins to contain small items, a long compartment for crutches and 2 general storage compartments. Each of the wooden drawers is mounted on heavy duty Accuride drawer glides and features a network of removable dividers to allow the user to customize the drawers for years to come.
Saginaw Spirit Medical Equipment Trunk
This case was built for the Saginaw Spirit hockey team. The case is built from 3/8" plywood and features a removable latched front lid and a hinged top section. The top section of the lid features 24 plastic storage compartments for small items. The storage bins are held in place by a piece of black Comatex plastic latched into the lid section.
