Microphone Tech Workbox
This case was designed for Loyola University to hold microphones and stands for their event services department. The workbox holds an assortment of mics, stands and components allowing the Event Services department to bring a singular workbox that holds all their equipment to events.
The case features 9 drawers built out of 1/2" Baltic Birch, mounted on HD Accuride glides and finished with black texture coating. Three drawers arranged on the bottom of the case feature locking latches for security. The other 6 drawers feature various dividers for organization, the bottom drawer features a 24 capacity foam mic insert. The case interior also features a 20 capacity mic stand compartment and a Formica laminated work surface for writing. The front opening doors feature 5 divided compartments and a shelf for additional storage.
The exterior case is built out of 3/8" plywood laminated with red ABS. The case rides on 4" Colson casters and features a custom Loyola silkscreen.
