World Wrestling Entertainment Portable Media Rack Center
This project was handled by our Custom Integration department. The process started with WWE and LM working together on gear selection and how the media rack would function in the brutal WWE touring environment. The rack needed to handle a wide variety of input signals to fulfill its duty as a multi format portable preview unit. The LM Custom Integration department handled everything from the sale and installation of the equipment to the custom metal work needed for rack panels and doors.
San Diego State Video Server Workstation
This case was built for San Diego state for their recent bowl game. The case features a shock mounted rack shell with space for 3 1RU servers. The case features 4 Baltic birch drawers mounted on HD glides for storage.
University Of Michigan Video Server Rack
This case was integrated by Thalner Labs for the University of Michigan, the case is designed to transport video servers. The case features a 30" deep foam shock mounted inner rack shell with captive nut box rails mounted front and rear.
10 RU Recording Outboard Rack
This case is designed to hold rack mounted outboard gear as well as a computer keyboard and mouse, the case will be used in a mobile production environment as well as in a studio. The rack is complementary to our sound isolation rack, where the computer and hard drives are stored in the isolation rack; the mouse, keyboard and monitor are located on the outboard rack. This is beneficial in studios that use mixing consoles, the case can be placed perpendicular to the mixer and allow the user a place to hold their computer monitor, mouse and keyboard; while the isolation rack that holds the computer can be kept at a distance.
Apple Mac Pro Flypack Case
This case was designed with the mobile recordist in mind. The case holds an Apple Mac Pro tower in a 2" foam lined compartment and a foam shock mounted 8 RU rack above the computer. The computer is held in with foam blocks allowing the front of the computer to remain flush with the front foam of the case. The back of the computer compartment has blocks that hold the computer by the corners to allow room for all connections on the back of the computer and prevent it from moving front to back in the compartment. There is a "U" shaped cable passage between the computer and the rack to allow cable connectivity between the two compartments without interfering with the rear lid.
Video Flypack Rack w/Monitor
This case was designed for RCI Sound Systems. The case features 12RU equipment section with a 32" deep rack shell. The HP L2105 monitor is mounted on a Premier AM50-B mount. The mount allows the monitor to articulate as well as spin from landscape to portrait viewing positions.
Triple Wide Flat Panel Shock Mounted Rack
This case was designed for Maryland Sound International. The case feature 3 rack sections outfitted with front and rear pre-tapped rail as well as unistrut for cable management. The exterior case as well as the inner rack shell are built out of 1/2" plywood and feature deep recessed handles, 4" x 2" casters, recessed PAL label dish, and a custom silkscreen of the Maryland Sound logo.
LM Cases Custom 10 Space Shock Mounted Rack/Mixer Steve Harvey Morning Show
This case was built for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The case is designed to hold a rack mounted mixer and rack mounted processing equipment. The mixer section has 11 rack spaces, and the equipment section has 10 spaces with rear rack rail. The entire rack structure is mounted in a 2" foam surround to provide shock absorption on the road. The outer and inner structures are built out of 3/8" plywood. The case features 3.5" casters mounted on a 3/4" birch caster pad.
12 RU Pocket Door Rack
We all know how stressful touring is, every thing is rushed and space is at a premium; these cases are designed to help the touring professional worry about one less thing: "where do I put all of my rack lids." When moving in and out of venues it is easy to forget simple items like rack lids, this design also solves the issue of storage!
18 Space Flat Panel Rack
This rack was built for Advanced Lighting & Sound. The flat panel racks great for situations where there isnt enough space to store traditional rack lids. These cases are also great for situations when you need to stack racks. With traditional racks, you need to move the casters in to make them hit the rack shell for stacking, flat panel racks allow you to keep casters in their traditional wide stance position for stacking.
16RU Rack w/Widescreen Monitor Mount
This case was built for Accent Electronic Systems. The case is designed to hold a 19" LCD monitor on a telescoping Premier mount, with space for a mouse, keyboard and 16 RU of gear below.
Portable Server Rack For Oracle Sun Fire X4140 Server
This case is designed to transport an Oracle Sun Fire X4140 server. The case and inner rack shell are built from 3/8" plywood. The inner rack shell is 30" deep and surrounded by 2" foam and features front and rear pre tapped rack rail.
CoachComm Tempest FX Sideline Accessory Rack
This case was made for CoachComm. The case is built out of 3/8” plywood, and features silkscreens of the companies logo, pad-lockable hasp latches, recessed cable hatches, and 8” foam filled field casters.
Cisco Chooses LM Cases For Their Mobile Server Rack
This case was designed to house Cisco servers used in mobile applications. The case is built out of 1/2" plywood, and features a 1/2" inner rack shell mounted in 2" of foam to provide shock protection. The rack holds 21RU of gear features a 33" deep shell to accommodate the extra deep servers. The case features all recessed hardware and 4" x 2" HD casters mounted on a Birch pad. Custom Pelican 1600 “Rack In A Box”
Sometimes you just don't need a big heavy shock rack! For the situations when you only have 1 RU or 2 RU of gear and a few peripheral items LM Cases developed the "Rack In A Box". We start with a Pelican 1600 case and custom foam insert to hold a 1 RUrack shell. The rack shells are built from 1/2" Baltic Birch that is black painted and outfitted with front and rear rack rails. The rack shells are designed to rest on foam blocks in the Pelican case allowing for an open storage space under the rack shell. You also have the option to custom cut the interior to fit your specific application.
